Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 can canned milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- dash karo syrup
Preparation
Step 1
Mix sugar, milk, butter.
Over very low heat, bring to boil.
Cook until the soft ball stage is reached and use a candy thermometer to measure the temperature. Add dash of karo syrup just towards the end of cooking.
**it takes about 2 - 2 1/2 hour to cook. It will rise, then fall, and darken slightly.
Remove from heat. Add other ingredients.
Beat on high until solid. Pour into a 8x8 buttered pan.
