Feel Good Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • 1/2 cup berries
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric, to taste
  • 2 tsp ground flax or chia seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk (carton not can) or almond milk
  • Ice (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Add all ingredients into blender, except for ice and blend until smooth.

2. Once combined add in and optional ½ - 1 cup of ice depending on how cold and/or icy you want your shake to be!

*Note fruits can be fresh or frozen
