S'Mores Calzone

Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2 graham crackers (roughly crushed)
  • 1/4 cup dark mini chocolate chips
  • olive oil
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon-sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat a grill over medium heat. If not using a grill, preheat oven to 425º F.
Cut dough ball into 4 equal pieces.
On a floured surface, roll dough into circles.
On half of each dough round, place an equal amount of marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate chips.
Close the dough around the filling to form a half moon. Crimp edges to close.
Brush with melted butter.
If using a grill or grill pan: Place calzone directly on the grill. Close grill and cook 2-3 minutes per side until insides are gooey and melted.
Brush with more melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
If using oven: Place calzones on sheet pan. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden, gooey and melted.

Tips
- If bringing the calzones to a tailgate, freeze the raw calzones. Keep cool until ready to grill.
