Orange Peel Pork Roast

Ingredients
- 4-5 lb pork loin roast (or any roast cut)
- Juice and zest of an orange
- 1/4 red onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 t. oregano
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1/8 t. nutmeg (I shave a little whole nutmeg over the roast)
- 2 t. cumin
- 1 t. rosemary
- pinch of sea salt
- pinch of pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Place pot roast in crock pot and top with all ingredients. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. This can also be placed in a roasting pan and cooked in the oven at 275 F for 4-5 hours or until internal temperature reaches 170 F. The slower it is cooked, the more tender it will be.
