Ingredients
- 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat peanut butter, shortening, sugars, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture; blend well. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop batter 2 inches apart onto stone. Bake 10-15 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes before removing from stone.
