Japanese Coleslaw (Val's Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 head red cabbage
  • 1/2 head green cabbage
  • 4 scallions (chopped) use all of the scallion
  • 1 cup slivered toasted almonds
  • 4 TBLSP toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 pkgs seasoned ramen noodles (break up in pieces.
  • Dressing
  • 3/4 cup veg. oil
  • 2 TBLSP sesame oil
  • 5 TBLSP red wine vinegar
  • 4 TBLSP sugar
  • 1/2 TBLS salt

Preparation

Step 1

Shredd both cabbages, chop scallions. Break the ramen noodles in pieces and mix all together.

Add dressing and mix well. Start out with 1/2 of the dressing recipe as it makes alot.
