- SPONGE:
- 210 g (7 1/2 oz) flour
- 3 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 200 g (7 oz) sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 5 teaspoons sunflower oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 250 ml (1 cup) cold water
Preparation
Step 1
Sift together flour and cocoa powder.
Add sugar, baking soda.
Add vinegar, vanilla extract, oil and water. Mix well.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in 180 C (350 F) oven. Place on a wire rack to cool.
