Chocolate Cream Crunch

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup margarine softened or 1 stick butter
  • 1 (9oz.) package of Cool Whip
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 8oz. package cream cheese; softened
  • 1 6oz. package of instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 60z. package of instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

Make crust by combining flour, walnuts and butter. Mix well and press into bottom of 9x13x2 pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool completely - this is very important.
Blend cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy. Fold in in 1 cup whipped topping. Blend well and spread over cooled crust. Chill.
Combine chocolate pudding mix with 1 1/2 cups milk. Pour over cream cheese layer. Chill.
Repeat with vanilla pudding. Chill.
Frost with remaining whipped topped
Cut into squares and serve.
