Chicken Yakatori

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C Sugar
  • 1 C Soy sauce
  • 1/2 C water
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 12 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp corn starch

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat until boiling. Let stand until it thickens a little bit. Pour the sauce over boneless chicken breast. Marinade the chicken 30 minutes before cooking. Bake/grill chicken as desired until done.

Note: This is also delicious if the chicken is cut into strips and put on kabob sticks.
