Chop bacon into small pieces. I'd say maybe 2 slices of bacon per pound of green beans! ((I need to check this, you know I'm bad at guesstimating!))
Cook the beans LOW & SLOW!!! LOW... and... SLOOOWWW! Like on the 3-4 range of the stove. Once they are about 3 mins from being done, add the onion, garlic powder or minced, salt & pepper! Sprinkle the parmesan on top! Done!
