CLAM CHOWDER SOUP

Ingredients

  • bacon
  • 2 onions
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 grn pepper
  • 1 can concomme
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 2 cans whole clams
  • 2 cans diced clams
  • 1/4 LB melted marg or butter
  • 2 TBL flour
  • 1 pt. cream (half & half)

Preparation

Step 1

dice bacon & simmer
in same pan simmer onions & potatoes
add diced grn. pepper if desired
add consomme & tomatoes
let it all simmer
add clams

SAUCE
make following sauce - add & let simmer
melt margerine
add flour & cream
stir & season
