  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 1/2 ounces can crab meat
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch

Step 1



Melt butter. Add flour to make a roux, then add milk slowly to make a cream sauce. Bring to a boil and add crab meat, salt and pepper. Chill. Form into balls and roll in cornstarch. Deep fry and drain. Serve hot with dishes of soy sauce and hot mustard. Make ahead and reheat in a 450 degree oven for a few minutes.
