Chocolate Pie

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups milk
• 3 egg yolks
• 3-4 Tbsp. cornstarch
• 2 Tbsp. vanilla
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 3 Tbsp. cocoa
• 2 Tbsp. butter
• baked pie shell

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, cornstarch and cocoa. Beat egg yolks into milk. Pour into sugar mixture and mix well. Cook until thickened. Add butter into filling. Stir until incorporated. Pour into pie shell.

Meregine

3 egg whites
¼ tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
cream of tartar

Beat egg whites until fluffy. Add rest of ingredients—beat .
Pour over pie. With spatula make peaks. Brown in oven.
