Ingredients

  • Cups Long Grain Rice

  • 3

    Cups Water

  • 1

    Tbsp Unsalted Butter

  • 1

    Tsp Salt

  • ¼

    Tsp Black Pepper

  • 1

    Tsp Dried Mexican Oregano

  • 1

    Tsp Cumin

  • ¼

    Tsp Cayenne

  • ½

    Tsp Coriander

  • ½

    Tsp Tumeric

Directions

Choose a medium microwave safe bowl that will be used to serve. Combine the water, spices, butter, salt and pepper in the bowl. Next, add the rice. Place kitchen towel over the top to cover. Microwave the rice on high for 20 minutes. Remove from microwave with pot holders or a towel, being careful not to burn hands on hot bowl. Keep kitchen towel over the rice until ready to serve. Fluff rice with a fork and serve.
