Good'n Easy Garlic Chicken

his is the perfect weeknight staple-quick,easy, healthy, and good! A quick flattening of the chicken breast ensure they cook up fast and tender, while pantry staples add great flavor. Pair this recipe with my 10-minute Broccoli, Cheese and Rice Skillet for a family-friendly meal that can be prepared in no time flat.

Ingredients
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 t. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp reduced-socium or regular seasoned salt
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast (about 2/3 pound)
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/4 c. reduced sodium chicken broth
- 2 tsp butter
Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl, stir together the garlic powder. onion powder and seasoned salt. Set aside.
Wrap the chicken breasts in plastic wrap, gently pound to 1/4-1/2 inch thickness and coat them with the seasoning mix.
Heat the oil in a medium non-stick skillet over emdium high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 2 minutes on each side, until well browned and barely cooked through.
Pour the chicken broth into the skillet, tilting to evenly distribute the broth, Cover, reduce heat to medium low, and cook chicken for an additional 3 minutes or until cooked ghrough. Transfer the chicken to plates or a single serving plate.
Swirl the butter into the broth and reduce the mixture slightly, Pour the sauce over the chicken and serve.
This recipe can easily be coubled. When coulbling the broth, add 1/4 c. as directed in Step 4 and additional 1/4 c with the butter in Step 5.
