Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh basil
  • 3 large garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts (almonds or pistachios)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Pecorino Italico cheese (or parmesan)

Preparation

Step 1

Put basil, garlic, olive oil and nuts in food processor and chop. Add grated cheese and combine gently. Taste to see if it needs a touch of salt. Freeze it in small containers.
