Orange Pineapple Jello Salad

This was my Mother's recipe. The grandkids ask for it at every get together.

Ingredients
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 large cake cream cheese
- 3 boxes orange jello (use orange-pineapple if you can find it)
- 3 cups cold water
- 1/2 pint whipping cream whipped
Preparation
Step 1
Bring crushed pineapple and sugar to boil and boil 3 minutes
Add cream cheese. Mix thoroughly. Add jello. Take off stove.
Add water and stir. Let stand until thick. Add whipping cream and put into refrigerator. Let chill till firm. Very good!
