Ingredients

  • c butter or margarine, softened

  • 1

    c sugar

  • 1⅔

    c milk

  • 2⅓

    c flour

  • 1

    c cornmeal

  • tsp. baking powder

  • 1

    tsp salt

Directions

Cram butter and sugar. Combine eggs and milk. Combine dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternating with egg mixture. Bake in greased 9 x 13" pan at 400 degrees for 22-27 minutes. Check with toothpick.
