Crock-Pot BBQ Beer Shredded Chicken 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 large)
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup beer, chicken stock, apple juice, pineapple juice, mango juice, or ....
  • 4 cup barbecue sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Add all the ingredients, other than the chicken into the bowl of a crockpot and stir to combine. Add the chicken and cover with the sauce. Cook on low for about 6 hours. Shred chicken and add back to sauce. Toss chicken with sauce and let sit for 15 or so minutes to absorb sauce.

Serve on buns with coleslaw.

Note: Leftovers can be frozen in a ziplock bag, dated and used later.
