Ingredients

  • pinch of sugar

  • 1/2

    teaspoon salt

  • 1/2

    teaspoon pepper

  • 1/2

    teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2

    teaspoon oregano

  • 1/8

cup every day vinegar, your choice of white wine , red wine, balsamic

  • 1/2

cup canola oil or vegetable oil

  • 1/8

    cup olive oil

Directions

Into a bowl add a pinch of sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano. Pour vinegar on top of spice mixture. Add in canola oil and whisk well, top off with olive oil and whisk very well again. Taste. If you would like the taste to be a little more mild add in a little more oil. If you would like a little more tart flavor, add in a touch more vinegar. Pour Dressing onto Salad a little at a time tossing well in between (this will prevent you from over dressing the salad.) Pour remaining Dressing into a jar and refrigerate. Dressing will keep fresh for over a week.
