Ingredients
- Soak 3 hours in ice water, drain then add to the following boiling ingredients:
- 1 gal cucumbers, after sliced with peelings
- 12 small onions
- 1/2 cup salt
- 4 - 5 cups sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 2 tbsp. mustard seed
- cider vinegar to cover
- 1 tbsp. powdered or prepared horseradish
- 1/2 tsp. tumeric

Step 1
Bring to a boil then pack to within 1/2 inch of top of fruit jar and seal.
Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes (start timing when water returns to boil). Makes approx 6 pints.
