Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 oz bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour milk (mix milk and a TBS vinegar or lemon juice and let sit)
  • 1 1/2 ts soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ts vanilla

Step 1

Combine chocolate and butter and cover with boiling water, when melted, add the remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth and the batter is thin. Bake in a buttered 9 by 13 inch baking pan at 350 for about 30 minutes.
