Ingredients
- 2 lbs. of butter softened
- 7 3/4 oz. powdered sugar
- 4 c pecans finely chopped
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 lbs a.p. flour

Step 1
. Toast and reseve pecans
.Cream butter and sugar, add in salt, nuts, vanilla, flour , mix thoroughly, cover and chill for 30 minutes
. Form dough into 1" balls and bake on a sheet pan at 350 degrees, should be light brown on the bottom of each cookie
. Let cookies cool for 1 minute, then roll in powdered sugar, allow cookies to cool again and roll again in powdered sugar
