Ingredients
- Cake Layer:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1-16 ounce can Hershey’s syrup
- Mint Layer:
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3 Tablespoons Crème de Menthe (green) + 1 1/2 more
- Glaze Layer:
- 6 ounce package chocolate chips
- 6 Tablespoons butter
Preparation
Step 1
• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• Mix cake layer ingredients.
• Pour into greased 9 x 12 pan.
• Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
• Cool in pan.
• Mix mint layer and spread on cooled cake.
• Mix and melt glaze together.
• Cool slightly and spread over mint layer.
• Chill 10 minutes.
• Cut into small squares.
• Freezes well.
