CHEESE-CHILIE CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • 1 LB coarsely grated jack cheese
  • 1 LB coarsely grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 (4-oz) cans diced green chilies
  • 4 eggs - separated
  • 1 TBL flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 med tomatoes

Preparation

Step 1

combine grated cheeses & chilies
spoon into well greased 11x7" baking dish

beat egg whites till soft peaks form

in another bowl combine egg yolks, milk
flour, S & P
mix until well blended
fold whites into yolk mixture
pour mix. over cheese using fork to
swirl mix through cheese

bake @325 for 30 min
remove from oven
put sliced tomatoes on top
bake 30 min longer
