- 1 box Butter yellow cake mix
- (reserve 2/3 c. of mix)
- 1 egg
- 1 st. of butter (soft not melted)

Step 1
Mix all together; becomes soft, may have a few lumps. Pour into a greased 9x13x2 pan..Bake 20 minutes at 350. Take out of oven. Mix the 2/3 c. of cake mix, 3 eggs, 1 1/2 c. white karo syrup, 1 t. vanilla flavoring , 2 cups chopped pecans. Pour over baked cake. Bake another 40 min. at 325
