Shipwreck Dinner

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 pkg macaroni & cheese dinner
  • 1 can (15oz) stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded low-moisture part-skin mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown meat in a large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain if necessary.

2. Stir in macaroni, cheese sauce mix, tomatoes, peas and milk. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat for 12 mins or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally.

3. Top with mozzarella. Remove from heat. Let stand, covered, 5 mins or until mozzarella is melted.
