Cheddar Parmesan Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1/4 C butter
  • 1/4 C flour
  • 2 C milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 C (4-oz) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 C grated parmesan cheese
  • 5 C sliced cooked peeled potatoes
  • (abt 5 medium)
  • 1/4 C buttered bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

in saucepan, melt butter over low heat
stir in flour until smooth
gradually add milk
bring to boil
cook & stir for 2 min or until thickened
remove from heat

add salt, cheddar cheese & parmesan
cheese
stir until cheese is melted
add potatoes
stir gently to mix

place in greased 2-QT baking dish
sprinkle bread crumbs on top
bake uncovered @350 for 30-35 min

TO MAKE BUTTERED BREAD CRUMBS:
MELT TBL BUTTER & ADD 1/4 C DRY, FINE
BREAD CRUMBS
STIR UNTIL COMBINED
