Cedar-Plank Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 2LB piece salmon fillet, skin on
  • 1 cedar plank (7x14x3") soaked in water
  • for at least 30 min
  • 1/2 C light brown sugar
  • 2 TBL canola oil
  • 1 TBL dried thyme
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

Preparation

Step 1

preheat grill to med

place salmon, skin-side down on cedar
plank
in sm. bowl, combine sugar, oil, thyme
& cayenne
spread over salmon

place plank on grill & cook covered,
until salmon flakes easily & is
opaque throughout, 20-30 min
