Sauteed Apples

  • 2 apples
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup loosely packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup hard apple cider
  • Ground cinnamon



Step 1

Peel and core apples and slice thinly. In saute pan or large nonstick fry pan put in butter, sugar, and cider, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Bring sauce to a full boil and add apple slices. Reduce heat to simmer and cook apples, stirring very occasionally until apples are tender and sauce is reduced by 3/4. Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
