Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 2/3 cup butternut squash (bake a small squash at 350 for 1 hour, mix with 1/4 cup apple cider, 1.5 tsp pumpkin pie spice, and 2 Tbsp cinnamon)
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 2 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all dry ingredients (not including the sugars) in one large bowl.
Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl, including sugars and maple syrup.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry bowl--slowly folding it all in. Mix well.
Bake at at 350 for about an hour. Cover the bread with foil 30 minutes after you put it in the oven to prevent over-browning.
