John Wayne's Southwest Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 5-6 oz velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 (28oz) can refried beans
  • 1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (5oz) bottle taco sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili powder

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook the beef and sausage with the onion in a skillet, stirring until brown and crumbly; drain. Mix with the cheese, beans, tomato sauce, taco sauce and chili powder in a slow cooker.

2. Cook on high until cheese melts. Reduce temperature to low and serve with assorted chips.
