Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 8 ounces small elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 1 - 15 ounce tomato sauce
  • 1 - 15 ounce can diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 6 ounces mozarella cheese slices
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • *Choices of pizza toppings (sausage, salami, olives, pepperoni, etc.)

Preparation

Step 1

Brown crumbled beef and onion together in a skillet. Mix in tomato sauce, half of the diced tomatoes, water, and seasonings. Mix in the macaroni.

Transfer to an oven-proof casserole dish. Top with cheese, pizza toppings, and remaining diced tomatoes. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes.
