  • 2 Tb butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tomato,seeded and diced
  • 1 TB dried basil, crushed
  • 1 TB dried oregano, crushed
  • 1/8 TSP creshed red pepper
  • kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to tast
  • 6 oz dry white wine
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • assorted dippers (button mushroom, broccoli florets, cubed ham, sweet pepper strips, and pepperoni)

Step 1

In a medium pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion nd garlic cook for 6-8 mintes or until light brown. Add the tomato, basil,oregano, crushed red pepper, salt and pepper, simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Add the wine, return to simmer. Add the cheeses, stir until completely melted.
