Ingredients
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm milk
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
Step 1
Be sure to use a large bowl!
Pour the warm water into the bowl and add the yeast. Let stand 5 minutes.
Add the milk, butter, salt, sugar, and flour. Whisk until all lumps are gone and the batter is smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and leave on counter at room temperature.
Just before cooking, add eggs and baking soda.
