Karrie's "Best Ever" French Toast

Ingredients

  • 5 beaten eggs
  • 1 12-oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • French bread

Preparation

Step 1

Whisk eggs and milk until well blended. Add sugar, cinnamon and vanilla and whisk until sugar is dissolved. Stir in melted butter. Slice French bread 3/4" thick. Place bread in 13"x5" pan. Pour egg mixture and refrigerate at least one hour. Cook on griddle. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
