Skillet Cabbage

Had a head of cabbage left so kind of made this up with available ingredients. Really good. Might add red wine and some Lee and Perrins next time as well. A very rich dish. This makes a lot of food could add more cabbage to stretch it and bring the fat per serving down as well.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. lean hamburger
- 1 lbs. Italian sausage
- 1 head of cabbage chopped
- 1 diced onion
- 8 oz.cn of tomato sauce
- 15 oz. cn of diced tomatoes
- 2 cn. Rotel
- 2 cloves of garlic chopped
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 1 cup of uncooked rice
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Brown meat and then add onion and garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
Add everything else and simmer until the rice and cabbage are done.
