Snickerdoodle Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400*

Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs.

Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.

Roll dough into balls the size of small walnuts, Roll in cinnamon and sugar .

Place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.

Bake @ 400*
8-10 minutes
