Breaded Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops (around 1 1/2LBS)
  • 1 TBL lemon pepper
  • 1 lg. egg
  • 1 TBL milk
  • 1/2 C unseasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 TBL grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 C vegie oil
  • 2 tsp red wine vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

wash & trim chops
rub w/ lemon pepper
set aside

toss bread crumbs, cheese & thyme
whisk egg & milk together

in lg. pan heat oil over med-high heat
dip chops into egg, let excess drip off
place chop in bread crumb mix, pressing
onto both sides

shake off excess

place 1st chop in oil, check quickly to
make sure oil is not so hot as to
burn breading,
then add other chops

turn after abt 2 min when nicely
browned
after 2 min on 2nd side, reduce heat to
med
flip once more after abt 5 min
the average chop takes abt. 8 min to be
cooked but still juicy, thick

chops will take more time, boneless
will take less
