Sauteed Green Beans

Green bean and tomato side. May be served at room temperature.

Also good with sauteed fresh mushrooms added.

Ingredients

  • 2 12-oz packages frozen steam-in-bag whole green beans
  • 2 minced shallots
  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup grape tomato halves

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare green beans according to package directions.

Saute shallots in butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.

Stir in balsamic vinegar, green beans and tomatoes, saute 2 minutes.

Salt and pepper to taste.
