Praline Sauce (for Ice Cream)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy sauce pan, mix well. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring constantly; boil 2 minutes; without stirring. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla & pecans. Serve warm or at room temperature over ice cream.
