Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1 1/4 c. crushed vanilla wafer cookies
- 1/2 c. finely chopped hazelnuts
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- Filling:
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp apple juice
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 c. chopped hazelnuts
- 1/2 c. chopped dried apricots
- 1 c. chopped apple
- Topping:
- whipping cream
Preparation
Step 1
Crust:
Combine all ingredients in small bowl, mix well. Press into bottom of 9'' greased pan (removable bottom pan), bake @ 350 for 8 minutes.
Filling:
Combine sugar, corn syrup, eggs, flour 2 tsp melted butter, apple juice and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, mix well. Stir in hazelnuts, apricots and apple. Spoon mixture onto crust. Bake 40-50 minutes, until golden brown.
Serve hot with ice-cream, or cool with whipped cream.
