Cream Filled Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vailla
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 2 cups icing sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • pinch salt
  • Chocolate frosting

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. In mixing bowl combine first 5 ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil, water and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Fill paper lined muffin cups half full then bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove pans to wire racks and cool completely. In a mixing bowl combine all filling ingredients and beat until fluffy. Insert a very small tip in pastry bag and fill with cream. Push the tip through the bottom of the liner to fill each cupcake. Frost tops.
