Ingredients
- 1 lb stew meat
- 1 lb. stew meat
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/8 t. pepper
- 1 t. salt
- 2 T. oil
- 1 t. onion powder
- 1/4 t. thyme
- 1 T. basil
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled & cubed
- 3 med. carrots, peeled & sliced
- 1 med. russet potato peeled & cubed
- 4 beef boullon cubes
- 5 c. water
- 12-oz can beer

Preparation
Step 1
In shallow dish coat meat with flour, salt & pepper. In a large soup pot brown beef in oil over med. heat. Add rest of ingredients and brting to boil.
Reduce heat & simmer for 2 hours or so, stirring occasionally until beef is tender.
