  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 lemon quartered
  • 1 red onion cut in 1 inch chunks
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 c white wine
  • 2 c water
  • fresh dill

Step 1

In a fry pan or roasting pan, on the stove top, add water, wine, bay leaves, onion and lemon. Bring to a boil, reduce to low boil. Add salmon and poach 8 to 12 minutes, depending on thickness. Serve with fresh dill or dill sauce.
