Ingredients
- 3/4 c unsalted butter (1.5 sticks)
- 1.5 c light brown sugar
- 2 lg eggs, beaten
- 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 c all purpose flour
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp fine salt
- 1/2 c chocolate, butterscotch, or white chips

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Butter and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a small sauce pan, melt the butter. Put the light brown sugar in a large bowl. Add the butter, & stir to combine. Cool to room temperature. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, & salt. Add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing just until a smooth batter is formed. Add the chips.
Pour the batter into the baking pan. Bake about 20 minutes -- until lightly browned & toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool.
