Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh cranberries
- 1 small tart apple, peeled, cored and diced
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup dried currants
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1 .tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
Step 1
Place all ingredients in medium sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until mixture thickens slightly about 25 min. Allow chutney to cool then ladle into jars. Can be refrigerated for 3 weeks or frozen.
