Ingredients

    lbs. Butter

  • 8

    tablespoons flour

  • 6

    cups half and half

  • 2

    cans chicken broth

  • 1

    cup cooking sherry

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • Old bay

  • 2

    lbs. crab meat

Directions

Melt butter in pot, add flour to butter. With wire whip, constantly whip butter and flour making sure not to burn. Add half and half stirring constantly with wire whip. As paste develops continue to add half and half until you get a smooth consistency. Add broth, sherry, old bay, salt and pepper to taste to mixture. Add crab meat to sauce
