Ingredients
- cake:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups plain flower
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 large can fruit cocktail and juice too
- 1/2 to 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- Topping:
- 1 stick butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 small can evaporated milk (mix well)

Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven to 325
mix sugar, flour & soda in bowl
add fruit cocktail
mix well (by spoon only!)
grease pan with margarine
sprinkle brown sugar and nuts in bottom of pan
pour in fruit cocktail mixture
bake at 325 for 40 minutes
Topping:
Mix all in small sauce pan
boil for 2 minutes and pour over cake while still hot
