  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup fine chopped pecans



Step 1

Cream butter, add sugar and cream until smooth. Add vanilla. Add flour and salt, add pecans- mixture will be stiff. Roll dough in 3/4 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350* for 12 minutes (lightly brown) in preheated oven. While hot, roll in powdered sugar, cool on rack. When completely cool, roll in powdered sugar again.
